0 iPhone Tips And Tricks

Here are a few pointers that will help you get the most out of your iPhone or iPod touch.
Restarting To Clear Out The Operating Memory
These devices are actually mini-computers and as such occasionally suffer from overloaded memory demands. The most obvious symptom is an app that repeatedly crashes and takes you back to the device’s home screen. The first, and most successful, fix is to power down your iPhone/touch and restart it to clear out the operating memory. To do this simply hold down the power button on top of the device and the home button on the front at the same time until you see the words “slide to power off”. Do that and once the device has shut down completely, press and hold the same buttons until you see the white Apple icon. Release the buttons and when the home screen comes up you’re ready to go.
Large Apps Are Best Downloaded On The Computer
Even over WiFi, large applications, anything over 5MB or so, take a lot longer to download than getting them through the computer and then syncing to the device.
