0 Galaxy Nexus 2? ICS phone upgrade makes its appearance online

Although it seems unlikely that Samsung threaten to launch a new flagship in so little time after the Galaxy S III, behold, there appeared information on the web about an upgraded version of the Galaxy Nexus. It is a comparative list of specifications, which Sammobile discovered and that lists alongside the Galaxy Nexus, the new Nexus and Galaxy S III.

The new Nexus (Galaxy Nexus GT-I9260) screen remains the same, with a diagonal of 4.65 inch , Super AMOLED technology and HD resolution, but the CPU will jump from 1.2 GHz to 1.5 GHz and the 5 megapixel camera will upgrade to 8 megapixels. The camera was seen as a weak point in the first Galaxy Nexus and the front camera will be in turn upgraded from 1.3 megapixels to 1.9. The rumor says that this model will have microSD slot too, another good thing, since the terminal had only internal memory in the original version.
Frankly I hope that the new Nexus is not just a small upgrade to last year’s model, but a completely new terminal. At one point there was a rumor about a launch of no less than 5 Nexus phones with Android’s anniversary this fall, but rumors will probably remain just rumors.
